Wyrrem

Wyrrem
An ancient race of large reptillian appearing creatures with wings. The eldest of these creatures stand over 40 feet tall with wingspans in excess of 60 feet. They are said to be almost part of Mellus herself, and as such believe themselves part of the planet. They slumber for eons, and awaken only for unknown periods of time. They have smaller guardians, "Wyrremkins", which protect them and their eggs while they Wyrrem slumber.
The Wyrrems have an ageless war against the Illiadians whom they oppose. While the Illiadians are dedicated to order and technology, the Wyrrems are dedicated to chaos and nature.
Much is unknown about these ancient creatures.
